Product Description
Supertif PC/PCND & HND Online Dripper
The Most Advanced Online Dripper
Rivulis Supertif PC/PCND is the preferred online dripper in the fast growing soilless segment in the irrigation market. It is ideal for precision soilless/hydroponic applications where highly tuned sealing and opening pressures are required. It can also be used as an online dripper in fields with sloping terrain or long row lengths, and as a master dripper for pot plants in tunnels, greenhouses or loop systems in orchards.
Trusted the world over for performance and flexibility, each dripper features a self-cleaning mechanism and precision manufacturing for maximum reliability.
Additionally, Rivulis Supertif PC/PCND provides multiple outlet configurations, variable flow rates, no-drain options with multiple sealing and opening pressures, and a wide range of accessories.
Rivulis offers multiple Rivulis Supertif PC/PCND Dripper outlet options for your various needs:
PC/PCND functionality – Both Pressure Compensating and No Drain configurations
SOL (Side Outlet Barbed):
- Refers to the physical layout of the output nozzle. Instead of a straight vertical exit, it features a unique 90° horizontal side barb engineered to connect directly to standard 3x5 mm micro-tubing or branching adapters. This direct path guides the water efficiently, reducing evaporation losses and lateral trickling along the main pipe.
PC (Pressure Compensating):
- Provides a consistent water flow rate across a wide range of incoming water pressures. This guarantees uniform watering to every plant regardless of elevation changes or the length of the lateral drip line.
Choice of 2 Options dependant on operating presssures.
ND (No-Drain / Anti-Drain)
Drippers:
- Sealing Pressure: Seals at a lower pressure threshold (typically around 2.2 psi / 0.15 bar to 0.3 bar).
- Best Used For: Standard sloping terrain, basic hanging baskets, or greenhouses where you want to prevent lines from emptying between cycles at regular operating ranges.
HND (High No-Drain / High Pressure ND)
- Drippers:Sealing Pressure: Requires a higher pressure threshold to function and seal (typically around 5.1 psi / 0.35 to 0.5 bar).
- Best Used For: Steep slopes, advanced pulse irrigation setups, or systems running at higher baseline pressures where a standard ND valve might trigger prematurely or fail to hold the proper differential regulation.
- Greenhouses, nurseries. Orchards, Vineyards, landscapes and garden plots, Trees
- Garden Pots
- Target Irrigation Areas.
- Multi Stram Outlets with Taper Design
- Maximal working pressure: 3.0 bar.
- 1.3-8litres per hour flow rate dependent on chosen dripper.
- Regulating pressure range: 0.5-4.0 bar
• Very low CV
• Minimum recommended working pressure 1.0 Bar
• Non-Leakage (CNL): - Opening pressure: 8.0 m
- Closing pressure: 3.0 m
• Filtration Recommendation: 130 micron (120 mesh)
- Dripper can be positioned exactly where required.
- Number of drippers can be increased to increase the water quantities applied aimed at meeting growth rate requirements.
- Allows the installation of "spider assembly", splitting the drip supply to a number of drip outlets
- Heavy Duty range of drippers and accessories in various configurations
- Colour-coded for identification of discharge and model
- Standard 5 mm tapered outlet for working with connectors or barb outlet for 3/5 tube
- Chemical-resistant, high-grade plastic for precision and durability
Four dripper design elements minimize clogging:
1. Protected water inlet
2. Flushing mechanism of regulating diaphragm
3. Strong turbulent flow in labyrinth enables continual cleaning and flushing
