The Dosatron is driven by water, so it is only natural that it should be utilised in the treatment of water & wastewater in many different situations. Volumetric operating principles allow for accurate & reliable proportional dose rates responding directly to water flow irrespective of fluctuations in flow rates & pressure (within operating limits).

Chlorine is a highly efficient disinfectant often used to decontaminate water, particularly from sources which could harbour potentially harmful bacteria & other pathogens. We offer a variety of Dosatron models for dosing chlorine, usually in the form of sodium hypochlorite, into water for effective disinfection.

Depending upon your exact requirements, it may be necessary to predilute your additive prior to injection through the Dosatron or to install your Dosatron unit on a partial bypass system.
We also offer Dosatron models which are suitable for use with other water disinfection products for the control of legionella, pseudomonas and other bacteria & pathogens. Please contact us to discuss specific additives including hydrogen peroxide, chlorine dioxide and any other specific additives.
